Coupling the record to the platter in this manner audibly improves pace, depth & clarity of playback. At 190g, it’s substantial while not excessively heavy, making it a good fit for most turntables on the market without the risk of undue stress on the platter bearing (which could lead to audible rumble). Available in black and silver, you’re free to choose what finish looks best with your rig! Note: max compatible spindle height is 10.5mm with the record on the platter.
